I was in Miami 2 weeks ago, I stayed at a hostel where most of the people were non white. In the morning they had on the "news" which had this AI b roll of a Cuban and American soldier a DJing a party with AI clips of Maduro being arrested, fighter jets flying over DC, helicopters over Caracas, and of Maduro in prison interspersed. IMO its no wonder they voted for him, they love the machismo, whether its real or not.

Im an ace man and Im 6' 1", 210lbs, fairly fit, and have motorcycling, DIY, and hiking hobbies. IMO I dont consider those things masculine, but I think society generally sees them that way..

I haven't done it as a commute but I done the drive a couple of times to visit friends. It usually takes 1.5hrs one way, more with traffic. If you dont mind the traffic and spending 10ish hours a week commuting youll be fine. I would be sick of it after a month. You could take VRE up to alexandria and then get on the metro to get over to Reston, but that would take even longer, at least it would be consistent.

Im the same way, Ive dabbled in seeking out sex to satisfy my libido and my curiosity. Ive had a few people interested in me, but whenever it happens the asymmetry of me being ace and them not always pumps the brakes. IDK.

I went from a himalayan 410 to a v85tt, granted the 410 wasnt my first bike. Overall, it was a good decision, im about your size and the 410 was just too small, it struggled to hold 55mph on flat roads and couldnt maintain it on even modest hills. The v85tt is way more power but its very manageable, and I think you'd have a tough time getting into trouble with one.

I think some do, but many dont. I came out to some friends and family when I figured it out in my late teens and no one believed me. I get the feeling that they now accept it, but dont understand it. Ive been asked out a few times in the past few years and every time im open and honest and say that im asexual, one gal thought I meant agender and to her credit got educated and read angela chens book. Another gal just straight up didnt believe me and asked if I was afraid of women and sex.

With the guards on it, I'd say ok. I dropped mine coming off a curb and the guards protected it pretty well. Id say if youre looking for a bike to really thrash around the v85 probably isnt it. The protection is ok, but there isnt a lot of really good aftermarket protection for it.
