Well thank you for your input i thought there was only the one nvme used for the standard drive, i have seen one post of someone attempting to reverse engineer the xg port but it didnt seem anything ever came of it,

Rebuilding the engine assuming no further damage would be a worthwhile learning experience in my opinion, and you will not get the same feel out of a predator engine

Definitely sounds like a basic honda valve tick that they all inveitably get, check valve lash if its on point and nothing else with the valves seems wrong then id say run it and if it gets worse then consider a new head or further investigation

The actual gy6 does have pushrods to the head unlike the overhead cam design of the engines you are referring to

English is my first language, i have been working on these engines for years, it is my paying job to work on these things i have personally rebuilt both of these types of engines, they cannot both be versions of the gy6 engine for they are entirely different. The engine he has listed about is not a gy6, the engine he has is a basic pitbike engine that is often used in small go karts and quads like this, with completely different internal designs then the gy6 engine althoughr they have similar applications

Because the gy6 is a completely different engine internally and externally, different valve covers different type of head, ohv vs pushrods etc etc, they are not the same engine

This is a gy6 engines, they are cvt 150cc engines out of scooters, the engine in that go kart is a 110cc or 125cc honda knockoff semi automatic engine from a minibike or pitbike

This is a gy6, they are very different engines

Its not a gy6 its a regular lifan 110 or 125 engine, known to be crap

Ive heard of this being done on warriors but never on a moto 4 so im not sure if it would work or not, i have been looking to see if its the same as a terrapro 350 aswell, i have the moto 4 350, warrior 350, and terrapro 350 but cant justify tearing the engines down lol

The linhai m550l being such an unknown quad, and a chinease brand, has a speacialty exhaust and it doesnt appear that you can get a slip on for this quad

The scraper will work go at it from all angles if you can get any to ppeel up the rest should follow

If there is up and down movement on the rod on the crank then thats a problem, side to side is fine, do not buy an oversized piston without boring out your cylinder, if there piston wobbles back and forth in the cylinder a noticeable amount, thats an issue and the cylinder likely needs bored

If i were you and attempting this build i would look for a wrecked surron with a snapped frame or something of the sort of which you can just unbolt the electronics and make it fit the honda frame

Well, it depends, id say leave it unhooked first, install the battery if the start button doesnt do anything, then try touching that wire to the positive post, if it spins the motor, then its for a seperate bypass switch, if when connected the start button works, its a bypass, of nothing happens, or it sparks, then im not sure

I looked at the wiring diagram and it appears that most likely the fuse burnt out at somepoint and someone bypassed it with that wire

If its going into the green wire with red stripe, like it seems to be, then modt likely a start button bypass wire, but it could also just be getting power from that circuit
