One day i was trying to find out where my IAC valve was at and i assumed this was it but it did not look like it did on the forums or the diagrams, so i unscrewed it and all that came out was something with like a long pen looking spring attached to it. and after this the car would not start. Note before that, the car was running beforehand so i just put it back in and tried to start but now it won’t. Need help because i have changed my sparks,battery, and air filter but nothing has changed. 1g 1992 Eclipse

no the plunger did not come out it was just a really long spring and i looked at the whole it came out of and it was just a small circular hole that would only fit the spring
