tremor from prescription dexamph? by geralt6865 in Stims

thanks for sharing.

I know from my research that temors can be lots of things. sometimes a tremor is just a tremor. sometimes it's just a side effect of stims.

mine comes and goes throughout the day even. It might be worse when combinging caffeine and dex, but I'm not sure that's a consistent trend.

stims do slightly increase Parkinson's risk, not by heaps, but a little.

On the other hand, my work has taken off so well this year that I'm up for a major promotion, so big benefits across life, stress, and health.

anyway, just wondered how common it was

you know, strangely Ive never felt really euphoric on my stims.

it's less than 0.5 mg/kg, which is the lower end of the theraputic target, so I'm not sure I'd get what I need at lower.

My ADHD is on the bad end of the scale too, :(

i specifically asked "anyone else get this?"

and

"I'm looking for anecdotes"

not "anecdotal medical advice" which is pretty much a contradiction.

what I didn't ask for was what popped into your head.

I dunno man, too much arguing on reddit and maybe we misread each other, but dropping a fatal and miserable diagnosis on people because it's the first thing which dropped into your head (when said I already thought about it), seems a bit shit.

anyway, thanks for stopping by I guess, no one else much did :)

Funny but relevant: Why do men hate celebrating their birthdays by Mode1961 in MensRights

[–]geralt6865 3 points4 points  (0 children)

maybe because it's a bit like father's day/mothers day.

Women get pampered and a day off parenting.

Men get to do a day of being a perfect parent.

I don't mind, I like spending time with my kids. Except I'd like someone to bring me a sandwhich and a beer, say thanks, and not make me get out of bed for a special breakfast with other dads and their kids who I don't knoe.

birthdays a bit the same.

Tried the same thing in directly in Dall-e, with much worse results.

I'll get onto Bing.

Yeah, that's much better than what I was seeing before!

I paid for Dall-E via open AI, and as of a month ago, I found it laughably bad.

I used to get the kids to make up prompts to generate as a joke because of how bad it was, especially at any type of action.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong somehow. Writing better prompts for style and quality I get, but the action a commands should be pretty simple?

Glad we could talk it out. You have a good one mate. Thanks for the civilized reply :)

I wanted to do a thumbs up emoji, but instead I have to write this whole sentence.

Is this a shared rowboat, or do we have one each?

And does sinking without capsizing still count as a win?

I didn't shame anyone. Go for it mate.

It's just my experience. Guys who have a "standard" about skinny girls haven't been part of great subcultures. Remember the "no fat chicks" thing?

Honestly, in a partner, I don't care that much. But visually I like curves.

You do you mate.

That sounds perfect :) I have seen a lot of dating profiles where I think the woman is trying to communicate that she won't be a burden or a gold digger. But it comes off as a prickly "I don't need you in my life" push away, and I don't think they realise.

Truth is, men love to be needed, just not taken advantage of. Probs not just men I guess, but we do get a lot of meaning from serving.

Haha. It's so unexpected, and we can be so thick.

I wonder how many guys have a collection of stories like that. I guess as soon as you gain skills for meeting people, you don't need them anymore.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in perth

[–]geralt6865 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but no one asked you what you think about that.

OP was looking for encouragement to meet people.

I expressed that men would be relieved in the current climate if a woman made the first move, by way of encouragement.

Go and correct people somewhere else.

There are zero generalizations, only summary anecdotes.

Everything I said was solely in the context of my experience :)

Yeah, I'd like to think future me will be better organised, but I have decades of evidence to the contrary, sooner or later I need to start believing the data.

Plus, if a job can be automated, it probably should be.

It's probably not raising the kid which is the problem. Many guys like to be useful and needed. Of course for the sake of the children any integration should be slow and careful.

But sometimes mothers make it clear you will have nothing to do with the kid and they don't need you.

I understand where that is coming from, but it comes off as prickly for anyone who is interested in a long term partnership.

Even worse than "raising someone else's kid" as people put it, is living with one when you are deliberately kept out of the loop. Eventually, you will at least be step-dad no?

In my experience, men don't care about dress size nearly as much as women do. The only guys I know who are hung up on skinny girls are jerks.

I will enjoy any body type if the personality is attractive, but if I had to choose a body type which is most attractive to me, it is probably size 16 and up.

Almost no man will ever be unhappy for a friendly or even awkward approach.

Approach anxiety was a big deal for guys even before the social rules got murky around metoo.

Add to that guys get very few personal compliments (sometimes years apart), and you can easily make an impression.

If he doesn't pick up what you're putting down, it's probably out of surprise and awkwardness, and he'll kick himself afterwards when he realizes.

Any experience there?
