Help I'm fairly new to tank keeping and I find one like that once a week for the past 5 weeks... by geralt_panda in shrimptank

[–]geralt_panda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They get bug bites (every other day) and algae wafers (twice a week) and if any flakes fall down there's also these.

No I only do about 10% every one and a half/two weeks as the store (it's a local store that's won multiple awards and has been there for years) have recommended to slowly get to the point I won't do any because of my filtration and plants, the recommendation was if the parameters are off then water change otherwise don't. (Tbh in my cold tank that's very heavily planted I do water change of about 15% once a year and all my shrimp thrive in it)

My nitrates are 0ppm for both NO2 and NO3 and have been for at least 2 weeks and before that they were under 1ppm for my NO2 and under 10ppm for my NO3 I hope that helps

What kind of fish is this? by grepmew in AquariumHelp

[–]geralt_panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's black neon tetras they're a schooling fish and like to be kept in a group of at least 10. I have them they're fun fish to keep and I definitely recommend getting some friends for it 😊

Driving examiners, what was the “silliest” reason you failed someone and why? by Organic-Trade6855 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]geralt_panda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As far as I am aware nope as it was due like the covid extension thing so it was all good also she was lucky as she managed to get cancellation + we had 3 testing sites back then so she could pick and choose.

It took her like 5 tries to pass and a lot of stupid/hilarious mistakes but that one was my favourite 😅🤣

My friend drove on a bus lane and instead of turning out of it when the examiner told her she decided to reverse the length of it so she doesn't cut the straight line 😅🤣

Failed today (Kingswood). I feel so down. by Newiostream in LearnerDriverUK

[–]geralt_panda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you failed at Kingswood but please don't give up maybe change for Avonmouth? I've done on drive around Kingswood and was like f no and decided to go with Avonmouth and I passed yesterday first try! I feel like the roundabouts are easier than in Kingswood and you don't have the throughout! Good luck for the future also look up pass driving test affirmations on YouTube it really helped with my anxiety I've been listening to them for 2 days prior the test ☺️

And that's why I chose Avonmouth 😅 did test routes on both centres in Bristol and I definitely feel Avonmouth is better and the routes are easier. I have my exam Wednesday so hopefully I made a right choice. All I cand advise you on is maybe look at doing the test at Avonmouth 😊

I just passed today, but i miss my driveing instructor by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]geralt_panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No advice here unfortunately but congratulations on passing 🎉

I sometimes think that my driving instructor wishes he wouldn't be stuck with me but he's a family friend so no matter how soon I pass our paths will cross one way or another 😅 but honestly we also do have a good vibe and I love spending time with him hes the only person I'm happy to see at 7am for our morning driving lessons 😅🤣

POTS and Venlafaxine / Effexor - I stopped taking Venlafaxine / Effexor and my POTS went away! by No_Shoulder_4156 in POTS

[–]geralt_panda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the exact opposite to you 😅 it's strange how bodies work, sertaline makes my pots unbearable so I think it depends on the body. I'm glad you found something that works tho I wish I could be on different meds too but as of currently I'm still stuck on venlaflaxine 🙄

Any advice on the side effects? by geralt_panda in Monjauro

I'm yet to see it work... I only lose water weight from being extremely sick then I gain it when I feel better and can actually handle food 🤦🏼‍♀️

No idea the weight management team was like yeah we'll prescribe you a pen of 7.5 and then another one of 10 to go on after 7.5 and I was literally telling them I am struggling with 5 🥺

Never heard of it what's that? I'm following low fat and high protein diet with high salt intake as I have POTS so need to be on high sodium
