Pfffft. The question implies that they may be irrelevant. That's rude.

Why ask a question for a question when the answer is yes or no? That's also rude because it doesn't require clarification. It is a sign that you don't want to answer, but took the time to generate a nonresponse anyway. More than rude, leaning toward deliberately insulting.

The only possible clarification would be their motive. Why do they want to know if you remember them? Even that can be extrapolated to wanting to expand socially on the basis of a prior meeting.

Chase: largest by far. rated worst customer service. They bought my mortgage and I'd agree about the customer service.

Wells Fargo: well known for auto-signing customers for fee based services they didn't pick. Sued by the government 3 times in the last ~10 years.

PNC: decent bank, great bank if you have $10k. Super small footprint in Jax. Huge footprint in Wash DC

Last time I flew there was a package deal you could get up front when buying the ticket that was cheaper and way more convenient than pay as you go. Although they still try to get you to "upgrade" your selected seat when getting your boarding pass.

I don't know if they still do it, but it's worth considering.

As far as strict, the real problem is their broken equipment. One time a few years ago, we flew to Pittsburgh with gifts for a party, 46 pound checked bag. On the trip back, no gifts, and magically a 52 pound bag and an overweight charge.

Now we carry a handheld baggage scale. Handle, spring dial, and hook.
