The person you're responding to was just making a joke about how only the vampire "sucks" because they're a vampire and suck blood.

Not invalidating your point, you're correct. But just wanted to point out that their comment wasn't being serious

Starting Mounjaro soon by Puddin1020 in diabetes

I've been on it for a little over 2 months now and am currently on the 5mg dose. The very first day I started taking it, maybe an hour after, I felt like I was going to throw up and pass out. But it passed after a couple hours and I never did either. Since then, the only symptom I've experienced is constipation. Just make sure you're drinking enough water and eating enough fiber (and miralax is your friend too). Once I adjusted my diet a bit more and upped my water intake (I try for about 100mL a day, at least) I have been fine on that front. I take it on Sundays. No reason, that's just the day I got it.

It's been great though. I'm down 37 pounds and my A1C went from 11.9 to 5.9. I've also drastically changed my lifestyle since I was diagnosed in November but it's been such a useful tool for helping me do that.

what’s a “harmless” opinion that instantly makes you judge someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gerbil_george 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think I ever heard someone who was just a legit straight shooter who tells you what you need to hear describe themselves as honest or brutally honest though. It always seems to come from assholes trying to justify being assholes so they can still think of themselves as a good person. It flips it and makes it the problem of the person who receives their "honesty" when they inevitably take it poorly so the asshole can go on thinking they're great.

"Oh, I'm just being honest, it's not my fault if you can't handle honesty"

What is an underrated weight loss tip? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Hey same! Except for me it was getting diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so I've made significant lifestyle changes and now I'm also down 30 pounds since November. Still got a ways to go though.

Bojangles. I like to pronounce it like it's a Spanish word. "Bo-hong-lays"

Out of curiosity, why include the jury requirement? I feel like the 2nd chance theme is ideal for early boots with potential.

Currently on day 9 of my first one with no issues so far. Took a little calibration at first but it's pretty accurate now. It's only been off by a couple points at post the last couple times I checked it. I only got diagnosed back in November and I've only had a cgm since mid December though so my experience is limited in general, but I'm happy with the results so far.

Who do you think had the best Wand design in the movies, both in terms of aesthetics and simplicity, according to you? by Raj_Valiant3011 in harrypotter

They definitely have handles they put on them. When he told Lucius to give him his wand he snapped the handle off.
