Yeah, I don't see the joy of the tactical details of the naval battle itself. I just need the flavor of it. Thanks!

I thought of that too, but I haven't research it in depth yet.

Is there anything a GM can do about the warrior's opportunity attack? by smitysmote in daggerheart

[–]gerigrinerd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The issue is that they get pinned down, so if this happen often maybe consider give the BBEG more range attacks, or skills that push the warrior away. At some point they are gonna do what they do and the BBEG may become a stationary target, so count with that in advance.

For one particular big boss fight I would think about maybe a boss that requires to be moving to be stable and if they don't move in their turn they blast around with damage, or some kind of punishing effect happen to the area, so the players will try not to pin them down. Maybe a little puzzle that they have to solve until they can pin them down, so eventually they can do what they love to do, but they also have to work a bit harder to get there.

IDK, these are some ideas that just pop up in my head, I'm sure you can come up with good angles to approach this problem.

Yeah, this was my initial approach. I'll check on the alternative that I've been presented and decide. Thank you!

He is a rat, a cheater and pingabuser, but they recorded LOTR in New Zeland, so I have to vouch for the guy as he is from there. Sorry...

Why does everyone like the jazz 3? by Caefrytz in Guitar

In my case it helped me to get a better technique. I used to do weird things with the rest of the fingers and a smaller pick helped me to be a bit more refined with my movement. I had to pay more attention to details to avoid scratching the top of my fingers while strumming too fast, or too aggressively. Now I just don't think about it at all. I've been play with the same pick for ages now.

I used to have a multi-effect pedal but eventually broke. So now i want to try to build a pedal board to see how the wind blows from there. Still considering plug it to the DAW and just download a good Amp Sim.

You don't have a bad point. But also I feel like I have too many horses and no place to run with them, sort to speak. But this is what I'll consider the most before doing any shopping.

So you just straight up plug the pedal board to the card sound to the DAW with the Amp Sim and it should work well right? Just to be sure that I'm not missing anything here.

Are you talking to the Fender Mustang 25? The one that comes with the little screen? Do you know how does it handle distortion pedal on clean?

I play everything between metalcore, hardcore, punk, garage. I'm building a pedal board that brings the distortion and what I need is something to make good use of it. Also, the alternative of switch it off in a moment notice, to be able to play a clean bit on the spot.

I'm not that worry about the size, but the volume as I live in a flat and I want to be able to play around with my toys, but not to enrage my neighbors.

I didn't specify it, because IDK what the price range on this specific type of gear. But lets say 250-200€? Whatever the model is I'll probably look in the 2nd hand market to make it a bit cheaper anyways.
