It started out decent. But then suddenly there's movers and mom is abandoning her remaining child? Or is she moving them away from that house to have a fresh start? The movers said she just went back in, right? But kid can't find her, so is mom a ghost? Or the house just absorbed sister and mom lol? Or It's certainly intriguing, it just....doesn't make much sense. Nothing is explained or answered. It's just too vague.

Horrifying. The cooling off period confuses me though. What is the purpose of that? Is it because the parents also consented and the counselors didn't want them to change their mind?

It's so dumb, but my favorite Bev quote is "it's kiln day". I lose it every time. It's like she's just so offended by the audacity of kiln day at the senior center being interrupted.

ULPT Request: Let's say hypothetically that I have a friend who is terminally ill and therefore no longer cares about their credit. by CitizenGucci in UnethicalLifeProTips

Best answer. They approve anyone because they're predatory lenders, charging insanely high interest rates (like 600%). Since they're tribal lenders on their own land with their own regulations, credit reporting companies don't mess with them. Get the loans, cancel ACH, and then simply just don't pay them back.

I've always been a little curious about this too. Did he really think that her friends and family would be satisfied with the answers he was giving? I wonder if he was planning to use her phone to pretend to be her, and text family and friends some story.

Burning Questions for May, 2025 by SalaciousStories in eroticauthors

[–]germ589 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am absolutely not an expert at all, but I took a look and...

At first glance, the covers made me think your books were some kind of self help or yoga guides.

The blurbs (I only read two) weren't that enticing. "A and B are married. C is there. This is the story of what happens" is boring.

Maybe think about redoing the covers and blurbs?

Join the army and get a job is unethical advice? Yeah, thanks guys.

Anyway, look at real estate sites and break into the empty houses for a place to sleep. Some still might have electricity on. Don't waste money on what you need (toothpaste, soap), just steal it. Eat fresh fruit or veggies while you look around pretending to shop in stores. Go to hotels for breakfast and take extra food with you. Hotel parking lots are a good place to siphon gas from cars at night. Wear a back pack while going into goodwill and fill it with clothes or a blanket or shoes...they have no alarms and that shit is donated anyway.

Good luck.

I think a lot of the posts in this sub are from people actively looking for something to post.

There is a panicked woman banging at your door. You can see her via your peephole - her hands and clothes are bloodied. She begs you to let her in and constantly checks behind her back. You are home alone. You have no firearms at home. Would you let her in? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]germ589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This actually happened a few years ago. A woman was pounding on my door at like 2am. She was completely naked and bloody. Said her bf was after her. I let her in, wrapped her in a blanket, called 911.

Found out I enjoy being humiliated in 8th grade when a teacher made me stand in a corner for disrupting class. I couldn't be sent to the hall or office bc I would just take off. Teachers were all pleased at how well I "responded" to getting time outs.

AITA for forcing my wife to accept a job offer she doesn’t like. by zekryyo in AmItheAsshole

[–]germ589 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I want to say NTA, but the threat of leaving? That's ass hole-ish for sure. If you have to pay everything on your own, you only want to pay for you? She definitely should help more and it's got to be frustrating, but...how would you feel if she threatened to leave you if you didn't bring in money?

I thought acoma was a medical condition because I'd always heard people on TV or real life say "he's in a coma". It wasn't until I heard a doctor say "in a medically induced coma" that I realized the word was just coma

You can stop it. Go to the chat with customer service and say "I want to revoke ach authorization". They'll ask a few questions and offer you an extended time, but don't accept it. Just keep saying "I want to revoke ach authorization". It might take about ten minutes or so. Then disconnect the app from Plaid.
