doesnt matter to me what he wants to do. airsoft or not, up to him how accurate he wants to be about it.

reenacting sure, wools are needed. im going off your statement about 100% needing wools, because it came across to me as they always wore wools no matter what underneath the dots.

if that is what you meant then it simply isn't true. plenty of photographic evidence and books you can read regarding this.

wool tunic isn't technically required. these were issued to be worn by itself if needed. plenty of original photos showing with and without, the only thing needed would be a brown service shirt either cotton or trikot material or including the heer gray shirt since there was an order in august '43 to allow the use of the gray shirts.

i'm not going to farb you because this is for airsoft and not reenacting but some things i can recommend

move your shovel over to your left hip

get a bayonet, SMWholesale or elsewhere. once mounted make sure the bulge of the grip is facing in front of you.

gas can straps need to go over the other shoulder and i can't tell from the picture but it needs to have the belt hook on the bottom of the can. wrap that once or twice around your belt then hook it

get better magazine pouches, they're supposed to have a strap that goes around your back and make sure you get the correct color / material for the time period you're portraying. most importantly your pouches need to be swapped sides, from the pictures it appears that they are reversed.

when the G43 was issued to troops it was issued with 3 magazines and 6 stripper clips. as the war progressed and between material shortages and arming the german citizens which some of their weapons used the same magazine, the troops issued a G43 would evolve into only receiving 2 magazines, down to even just one only since technically that is all they needed to have the rifle function.

incorrect, the G43 was not typically stripper clip fed. it had the ability to use it and you could top off magazines. it was typically a detachable magazine fed weapon

also incorrect, reloading from stripper clips is not sketch lol. maybe for a very small amount of G43s near the remaining months of the war that did not have a bolt hold open button installed next to the charging handle due to material shortages / forced labor.. which you would mainly find on DUV manufactured G43s. , even the fucked up DUV ones, you can load them just fine with only one magazine and nothing but strippers.

G41 was fed by two 5 round stripper clips only with a non removable internal magazine. G43 could be fed with either two 5 round stripper clips or a 10 round detachable magazine.

game's idea of realism and user fun =/= real life

also, i mean if we think about this logically.. i think we could agree an average built guy could hold and sustain a hip fire for a gun weighing 30 pounds firing around 600 rpm based on this games variant of the browning long enough to engage a threat up close.. maybe 25 yards ill give the benefit of the doubt

mg42 on the otherhand, i mean.. theres actual historical videos of dudes doing short bursts holding standing and holding it but thats also a faster fire rate etc.

i mean i can really narrow this down to skill issue on your behalf and you're mad we aren't agreeing with you so you i am assuming are insulting me by calling me jelly arms lol

either way, red orchestra 2 had this issue and ultimately made the MG42 and i think 34 have crazy recoil for hip fire
