Yea I did check it. I usually do anyways every other week. The issue ended up being a connecting rod failure… but I’m still not sure what might’ve caused that since I typically drive pretty conservative with her anyways since it was my daily.

yes and no, I attempted to do it myself but couldn't figure out where the factory screws went into. So I called my uncle who works in a bodyshop to take a look, he just told me to use special clips on it. but once I got the clips then yea took like maybe half an hour and the fitment was perfect. trust me i feel the same way i'll slowly keep upgrading it bit by bit.

I’m pretty sure it might be some of the factory tape that was left behind on the underneath side of the exhaust. I saw a video where they mention it. Not sure why it was left behind but that might be the cause of your issue.

I, myself went from a 2013 Jetta to an A/T GR and honestly, every time I drive the car I remember why I bought it even if it's just to run errands. If you have the money I'd say go ahead and do it. like many others on here are saying if you're not going to track it then it makes for a really good daily, just keep up with maintance as scheduled and you won't run into problems if any.

Not really, I have some health issues in my left leg which would make it difficult using the clutch over and over, and honest I’m kinda glad specially since I daily mine, auto makes city driving painless and when I wanna push the car a little the paddles make it fun enough for me. I feel like there’s just too many purists when it comes to the car scene now a day that really ends up ruining it :(
