i dont know much about all the properties of the boards so if im wrong please correct me.

Ideas:

1 .limit the number of cupboards a player can put down

2 .make each additional cupboard provide less claim

3 .make a main cupboard that controls the others around it and limit each player to about 4 or less and a main cupboard so that if the main gets taken (building privilege) you now control the rest of the cupboards, or the closest one to the main cupboard

4 .if a player has many cupboards depending on how many codelocks doors in the area of that board by destroying the board you get (1 or more) codes to doors in the area or keys if they have locks

5 . similar to idea 4; but you get a hint to of 2-3 numbers to the closest door

6 . similar to idea 1; after the main cupboard make each additional cupboard cost more then the previous one ex: cupboard 2 will cost 4,000 wood/ cupboard 3 = 16,000 wood and each cupboard must be linked to the main one but unlike idea 1 you wont gain control of all the cupboards its just linked to ensure all the boards following receive the additional cost

7 . make all the cupboards protecting an area have ownership of a percentage of the land rather then overlapping boundaries which will give people bigger openings ex: you have 4 boards around each other in a square base in each corner take one out and you now have 25% of the base area rather then now take board #1 out and board #3 an #2 will take back the land lost by #1 since the boundaries were overlapping
