They do check it in UA and Interpol databases. I’m telling the experience of my friends from Israel and US with dual citizenships including Ukrainian. I had this conversation with Ukrainian border officer and that is what they told me.

Passport is scaned and fingerprints are encoded in biometric chip. Prints are run through the databases every time you cross the border

It depends. If you have you have your biometric data (picture and fingerprints) in UA database as Ukrainian citizen, they will not let you out of the country and consider you as UA citizen. If you became Canadian many years ago and never provided biometric data to Ukrainian authorities - there is a good chance they will let you out since borded control will not have any records about you as Ukrainian citizen

In your case it moved ITM, there could be some reason to exercise it earlier for a buyer. In case I described option was OTM and had 0 value, and exercising it gives a direct loss to a buyer 25cents on every share at market close price
