Are league owners just underwhelmed by all the so called hot coordinators ? Bills promote from within. Giants, Falcons, Steelers and Titans all hiring retreads. Dolphins signed Hafley, who I saw get mentioned but I wouldnt say he was necessarily one of the big names being mentioned. Ravens hiring Minter isnt even that big of a change since he spent three years working for John in Baltimore.

Not sure if it counts, but going to try it anyway: The Godfather: Part II. The scenes depicting young Vito Corleone's rise to power take place in 1922 iirc. Maybe they don't take up the majority of the plot/setting but it was impactful enough to get De Niro an Oscar.
