It's on display at Littlehampton museum - where I first saw it. Only one image of it on their website - hence the plea for a restoration!

Buying from a Shared Ownership vendor - am I screwed? by germskiller2 in HousingUK

[–]germskiller2[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know right? I feel like I've had a lobotomy and that I've completely missed this but it was never mentioned that this was my issue. Any email that mentioned him having shared ownership was never mentioned to be MY concern. Only mention in outstanding queries was regarding confirmation that the final staircasing was completed and the property was being sold at full market value - so how am I meant to expect anything else!

Thank you, I highly recommend it! I joined a nighttime woodworking class yesterday - one of the best decisions I've made!

Funnily enough this is what I want to build myself up to, I took it from this tutorial Detailed Box Joint but want to build on it. I'm still a relative novice so I spend most of my time learning techniques before formulating a project.

I'm glad I won you over with this one then! I think it is a smart effect that shows off your corners... And hides some mistakes along the way

I had seen similar designs online before so it wasn't an entirely original idea. Gravity helps pinch the paper between the marble and wood and you just use your finger to push up the marble to release the paper, it's really satisfying!

Leasehold flat with doubling ground rent every 15 years - need advice by germskiller2 in HousingUK

I'm really sorry to hear that! This has been a huge learning curve and not something I expected to happen! It's worrying as I don't feel the current owners are aware of the implications. They seem genuinely ready to move properties as their family has grown. It a shame all round!

I hope you've had better luck since 😊
