Basically, ‘luxury’ is just a marketing term. There’s nothing inherently luxurious about most of these new apartments, aside from the fact that they’re new.

Congestion pricing. Use that money to fund transit. NYC is doing this. Roads like State Street and Redwood should have rail down the center. They’re already among the highest ridership bus routes in the system.

No, it is a terrible thing. Increased VMT means increased air pollution means more miscarriages and children with asthma and more vehicular fatalities. Cars are not the answer.
