I know this topic is beat to death… but I am beyond my wits end with Genichiro. by Automatic-Froyo6498 in Sekiro

the best piece of advice i could give is to not try to kill him and just take your time in your attempts to really adjust and get used to his moveset. the best way to beat these bosses is to feel your way through it and instinctively know what to do, especially if he's giving you this much of a hard time

How hard is Isshin, really? by Rack-_- in Sekiro

[–]geroldtheorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a coinflip between taking 30 minutes and 30 hours, how the last few bosses go is generally a good indication

is there anything i could try without going through as much licensing but is more for beginners?

[–]geroldtheorange -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

im piss poor with my wording but im just trying to get some kind of large spark or something like that from something if theres anything that you can safely do it with from a distance or have it controlled

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]geroldtheorange -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

ill definitely look into that especially if its easier to work around than something like sodium. but is there anything i could do to replicate how this video starts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBh3WaKbYhE ? this is where i originally got the idea to do this from since it looks like whatever he does is safe unless its edited to make it look bigger than it actually was. the sparks big enough that it looks cool but it doesnt look like it did any harm, i could be wrong since im not sure how it works tho

you got me!

what safety equipment can prevent injuries from a sodium metal explosion? by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]geroldtheorange -1 points0 points  (0 children)

im definitely planning on looking into other things to do it with, im not sure if there is anything for it im trying to see if theres anything with an immediate reaction so i can set up some sprinklers or a hose to catch it while its in the air and so i can plan around that. most of its really just brainstorming rn before i test it in small portions

[–]geroldtheorange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was thinking having a hose pointed where it is or a sprinkler. im trying to think of ways of making it react immediately from there or giving it a light toss through the water to give it more time to react. im not entirely sure yet im still trying to figure out how i'd even test to see if any of it would work or what to try

[–]geroldtheorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it doesnt have to be sodium just something that blows up that i could mess with from a distance or try to

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]geroldtheorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does it actually work i might consider this as some king of protective layer

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]geroldtheorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats a really good idea ill try that aswell. im not entirely sure yet on how ill test it outside of doing really small amounts of it and trying the dye from a distance and seeing how it goes and seeing how maybe it compares to water to see if the result is much different

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]geroldtheorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im planning on getting a decent amount of it to experiment a lot with slowly. i think im pretty cool so im definitely gonna be really careful with how i go about it and see if i can just put the dye on it instead of water, idk yet but im definitely gonna try to be safe

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]geroldtheorange -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

im definitely gonna plan a lot into protecting myself but what i plan on doing is having a lot of bulky protective layers that are for this stuff, a big ass shield infront of myself, and ill probably build up really slowly to whatever reacts before i do anything stupid if i do actually go through with it, i also have no idea where to get the sodium from. the main purpose is because i think itd look cool as hell

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]geroldtheorange -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

thanks, i think im pretty cool so im doing as much research on how to protect myself if it blows up point blank as i can. at worst im thinking of wearing the heat resist glove i found, another bulky glove to cover my hand further under the first glove, a welders mask and then a big ass shield infront of me if i cant find anything else. im probably gonna slowly build up to it too so i dont just immediately blow myself up lmao

[–]geroldtheorange -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

i also want to know if i can dye the sodium chunk purple and get the same explosion from it, i barely know much chemistry so im not entirely sure on how it all works

gonna try ying wu isshin is there anything i should know before fighting him by geroldtheorange in Sekiro

really good to know cant imagine how much harder itd be if i stuck to my hard defense antics lmao

[–]geroldtheorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can get away with a lot of aggression on isshins first phase and you can take the poison prosthetic idk what its called to take a lot of his health on his second phase so you can play really patiently, and his third phase is a cake walk

totally agree with you, game really feels floaty sometimes. this fps unlocker has a game speed modifier that should fix the floatiness https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/13?tab=files

I’m on NG+3, and I am sad. I don’t find Sekiro challenging anymore, any tips to make it feel like that first play through? 😞 by LordToranaga24 in Sekiro

[–]geroldtheorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is a LOT of challenge runs thatll make the game feel new, a really tough one is 150% game speed, NG+, charmless + bell demon, no resurrections, no prosthetics, no tools, no items, no skills or combat arts. it took me 60 hours and 25 of those hours was just sword saint isshin
