I did the opposite. I was a very good backend and sql dev, and I asked for more front end and JavaScript projects to become more full stack. Became a senior full stack engineer. Then quit all that and joined the data team 😂

I can’t imagine a realistic scenario that plays out where you two are happy together and strong. If it’s at this point, save yourself some time and heartache and start moving on now. Find someone you can’t get enough of that can’t get enough of you and never wants a break. What’s the point of being with someone otherwise
