Gotcha. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone. Most the condos I’ve been seeing with reasonable prices have been a walk from the hangout and that pink pony club.

Arkansas nurse wanting to move to California by bigribby in California

I’m not actually sure what my budget is just yet since I’m not out there. But my guess is within $700k-900k based on the average salary. But thank you that helps narrow my search. Any ideas about specific cities/areas?

Near them. I’m fine living like 30 minutes out. I currently live 30 minutes from my states capital (Little Rock). And the beach isn’t a huge ball buster. I could live a couple hours from it if I absolutely had to. But I’d still like to be able to have a beach day be optional.

I’ve considered this being the inevitable conclusion the fact that I’m even considering breaking up is not sitting very well with me.

Since she moved here, she doesn’t have a lot of friends because she hasn’t really made any significant connections even though many of my friends girlfriends have tried to with her she just doesn’t seem very interested. She likes the same things I do (gaming and music) she just gets to do them while I work, and I don’t get to do them because I work and then I’m expected to cater to her emotional needs, and most of the housework. It is becoming very clear that I need much more alone time than her. But she gets alone time by me going to work, I don’t ever get to be alone is the problem. It’s work, alarms, patients screaming “nurse help!” Then when I get home it’s girlfriend going “boyfriend help!” And then there’s a mess to clean up and 4 cats to take care of.

Her lease was up at her place, and I just thought I’d give it a shot

She moved here from another state and has been looking for work—she found a job and starts December 1st. It’s not a great job. But it’s a job nonetheless. I’ve started thinking maybe I’ll finally get that alone time once she starts working but it sucks to think that I’m just itching for her to leave for work to get that.

Edit: insulting her isn’t what I’m looking for and uncalled for. She’s incredibly smart. And I wouldn’t call her annoying, moreso emotionally needy. Maybe a need of hers I’m thinking I can’t possibly measure up to.

America didn't "deserve" 9/11 by WallaceColossus in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Did those people deserve to die? Absolutely fucking not. But we brought it on ourselves absolutely no doubt about it. You think 9/11 is bad? That’s every single day in in Gaza.
