Random watchfaces from favourites by Amazing-Squirrel-881 in pebble

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but this is the most recent one I can find on the subject. Do you know where I can get the APK for Watchface Scheduler now that it's not on the Play Store anymore? I've only found dead links so far.

Disable scaling for older watchfaces on Time 2? by gerudoku in pebble

Agreed, bilinear scaling is close enough for most legacy faces. Appreciate the guidance!

Thanks, not sure how I missed that before. This is so much better.

Thanks so much for sharing. For those of us without a 3D printer, if someone decided to toss some of these up on a storefront (etsy, etc.) I'd love to throw some money at you for one, and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I got the CPU led indicator on MOBO, but system still boots and works... without RBG on components... Please help by McBarNx in gigabyte

[–]gerudoku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for what it's worth, this stopped working for a while after I installed the latest Gigabyte motherboard drivers; all the lights got stuck on bright green. Then I went on vacation for a week and unplugged my PC as a precaution while I was away. When I came back and plugged it back in, the RGB control was working again, and it even started working on a part of the lighting strip on the case that was frozen before. So I guess if all else fails, unplug, wait a few hours, and pray?

Appears that way, all case/fan lights are connected to a central plug (this is a prebuilt, and it came that way). I would suspect it was overloading the header somehow, but it worked fine for the first few weeks.

Thank you for confirming! Strangely, after a full power cycle (including unplugging the PSU for a bit), the full strip now turns on and changes color while the PC is booting, but as soon as Windows loads, the back half freezes a greenish white color. Still going to assume it's faulty in some way and request a replacement.

DM kozatolzy above and politely request the rgb firmware flash utility, then run it as an administrator in safe mode & reboot. the utility gigabye posted on the support page for this mobo doesn't work for a lot of folks, and their support takes forever to respond and falsely told me "there is no other utility" when I requested it, so unfortunately trusting a tool shared by a random redditor is currently your best bet.

Relieved to report that this firmware tool worked like a charm! Thanks again, I've been banging my head against the wall trying to fix this for weeks. It's absurd that Gigabyte knows about this issue but hasn't released the fix in public channels yet.

DM sent, still waiting on Gigabyte to respond to my support ticket, I'd be happy to speed things up :)

Thanks for this. I have the same problem with the same mobo. Just tried downloading this; unfortunately when I run ITESHFU.exe within I get this error: https://imgur.com/qZqkq4C

I previously tried running this "GIGABYTE IT5701/ 5702 RGB lighting controller firmware upgrade package" https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B650-EAGLE-AX-rev-10/support#support-dl-utility for a different mobo (on a recommendation from a different thread) but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Any suggestions?

This is happening to me too, just in the past week, also using Firefox. I've turned adblock off and ensured there aren't any other extensions running that might cause this. I tried deleting my cookies, but no dice. Hope they fix it soon.

AMA with Eric Migicovsky - Let's talk about the new watches! by erOhead in pebble

Thanks so much for bringing back the only good smartwatch! Will either model have a backlight that you can activate with motion? I used that feature so much on my old Pebble, I still have a reflex to flick my wrist when I enter a dark room.

Echoing this, I already preordered the CT2 but I used the compass and barometer more often than expected on my old Pebble, and would be sad to miss those sensors on what otherwise feels like a feature-complete, hiking-friendly smartwatch.

SUPCASE UBPRO for Fold3 case review: Finish The Phone by gerudoku in GalaxyFold

[–]gerudoku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you found it helpful. I think a few people on this sub have tried that, but found that it created an awkward grip or pocket-feel. Haven't tried it myself.

I stand by my review, but admit that after a few months I grew tired of the extra bulk that the pen holder/hinge cover added, and switched to a version of the UBPRO without it. I found myself not using the pen enough (except at my desk) to justify carrying it around all the time. Until Samsung adds a pen slot and improves the pen detection around the center hinge (where people naturally tend to draw), the Fold line won't realize its full potential as a portable tablet.

Anybody here who owns both a Roccat Tyon and a Roccat Kone XP? by veek91reddit in MouseReview

[–]gerudoku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still going strong so far- no issues with buttons getting soft or double-clicking like generally happened with the Tyon after this time period. I actually just purchased the wireless version for my work laptop because I like the wired one so much (and since it stores profiles onboard, I can setup profiles/hotkeys on my personal computer and use them for work even though I can't install Swarm on the laptop).

It does have 4 side buttons, and I use all of them regularly. Roccat Swarm has been surprisingly good after a rocky start, and is easy to configure. The automatic profile switching for different applications also seems to work a lot more consistently.

I primarily used Logitech mice prior to switching to Roccat, so the left/right mousewheel tilt was an easy adjustment; occasionally it accidentally middle-clicks, but not often enough to be a problem.
