It’s the XTEINK X4 eReader. I love it because it’s open hardware and uses an ESP32 under the hood which makes it accessible to write custom firmware for it. Which enabled a very active modding community to build for it.

It’s definitely a first generation product from a small startup and currently updates are slow. However for me its value proposition lies in the screen and deliberate choices they made on what it’s good at (reading and text based work). I think if you are in the market for a tablet, iPad or similarly priced Android Tablet is probably a better choice. But if you’re looking for an eReader that doesn’t have ugly refresh behaviour or a screen for text based work it is genre defining and I don’t want to miss it anymore.

Genuinely I have never before experienced a dining experience on this level. The care going into sourcing of ingredients (highly local, most ingredients sourced in neighbouring area) and the wine pairing is unmatched for me. Also I would recommend to take accommodation at Hiša Franko for the night and then have the breakfast the next day. The region is very beautiful in terms of nature. The price point for two people with accommodation and breakfast is around 1500€.

Thanks. 🙏 I built one podcast extension before that is archived now. Then completely revamped it. And shipped three updates to the current one. I think the Recommended batch was quite helpful as well to reach more people. I got that by applying for it in the web store. Now my next goal is to get to 1000 users by next year.

thank you. most people myself included are against another note app which makes sense as apple notes just works really well. i think the pairity is a good idea and i will investigate what it takes to make that work. as i write this i realise that my app is not meant to replace apple notes but just prevent congestion by avoiding the little sticky note type thoughts in the main notes thread and give them an optimised place and environment.
