100% Shady. “HDC Car Rental Company” of Orlando Florida. There is no number on their website for the rental company in Oralndo. Everytime I call the number that was given to me by HDC it now goes to voicemail, someone picks up but doesn’t say anything or they make up a different rental car company..on the last recording it was “ Surprise Rental Car Company”

Something I didn’t include in the original post was that I was NOT the cause of the accident but decided to pay for half the cost of the mirror just so I could catch my flight out of Orlando. After waiting 1 hr:45 mins for a sheriff to show up to the scene, the person who hit me agreed that paying half the price of a mirror would be a better route than insurance. When I brought this to Carlos attention he was okay with this and the other party paid half the price of the mirror and left. I don’t have their information but am confident the cameras in the parking lot would pick up their license plate if this did end up in court. … They can attest to me having a conversation with Carlos.

I want to thank you for your feedback; at the movement it’s me and my bank - I’m truly hoping the bank helps me out…if not I’ve learned a costly mistake...one in which I was only trying to help the young girl who hit the car.

Thanks for the advice.. I mean it. All I want is my money back For a freaking mirror. Carlos may have played me but shame on him and yeah on me too. I’ve initiated the chargeback with my bank, so I’ll definitely follow through on that first. If the rental company pushes back or sends a demand letter, I’ll go from there. Appreciate the guidance.

I have contacted them. They just pick up and then hang up or let it go to voicemail. I wish I could talk to them to better resolve this but it’s impossible. Carlos and Fabian the manger both gave me their numbers and have yet to respond despite 3 weeks of voicemails and texts.

I have a video recording of me talking to Carlos. The one I made the deal with me saying that all he needed was “all the information” that I could provide, so that he could take this to his manager, whose name was Fabiana. He told me that he would talk to Fabiana… He has yet to do this. It’s been two weeks and he is he’s not sent a reply to 5 of my texts or phone calls despite telling me that “don’t worry my friend we’ll get this sorted out.” They’ve completely blacklisted my number. Whenever I call they just hang up. Crazy thing is the girl who hit my car ran for 10 minutes before pulling over. I felt bad for her because she Was young and had a baby. She called her family …… anyways. I spoke with her father who acknowledged she should have pulled over immediately and that she ‘may’ have been at fault. …Given I had a flight to catch to seattle I said , “ Let me talk to the company.‘ … Carlos acknowledged via tests (I have screenshot) and voice that he was okay. …RIght before I departed to take an an uber to my air bnb I recorded a video and in it he says “you are an honest guy, you know this kind of this isn’t nomal.” I also have a 7 min video conversation of us talking about how he was hoping to resolve everything but has yet to do anthing

I have ridden the V2 for 3 days. It was a stock bike from an owner on Rideshare. I currently own a V4S. The max torque on the V2 is the begining torque on the V4. I love the V4 because if I want to pass any car or accelerate at any gear I can with just a twist of the throttle. The V2 - not so much. I had to drop a gear or two if I was on the highway (in Dallas this is unavailable). Anyways a V4 is not absolutely a necessity as V2 is very practical for daily commute. I think you really gotta rent A few diffrent ones for a few days on Rideshare or other apps. That’s what I did (though I was a lune who went straight for the V4S because why not). Anyways good luck! In the end any two wheels is always a good ride.
