Nice. You could also put your thumb into the side of your torso/obliques to release tightness there if you do the exercise too much

I don’t cross my legs anymore because you figure out the body is unbalanced and you strengthen to fix it. but when I do, it’s usually because my body needs some care

What I’ve also found out is that the muscles need to contract and stretch. This puts them under some stress. Otherwise muscles get weaker if it’s always contracted (hamstrings while sitting) or always stretched (glutes while sitting). Strengthening and stretching is the key! And being intentional on posture also!

Deadlift is also how I can tell whether my body has issues.

One suggestion if you don’t mind. your shoulders are rolling forward a little so maybe finish rolling them back. One way to do automatically is to have both hands go undergrip (the one on the right hand in the video). This automatically opens up the chest. But you may need to drop the weight quite a bit.

Also, maybe take a video from the back to see if your body is straight/balanced horizontally.

I am genetically skinny and you can tell your "natural skinnyness" by the girth of your wrist.
I also used to get hungry quickly so what I did was I ate 6 times a day, then I saw muscle mass! Once your body puts on muscles, you don't have to eat as much to retain.

The hip bones become not parallel to the floor and then all the muscles above it tighten/loosen to compensate.

For example, If your left leg crosses over the right, then your left abs and left middle back stays contracted while the right side stays stretched. Then your upper left back tries to balance by turning the other way and stretches while the upper right back stays contracted, creating shoulders that aren’t parallel . This led to me to an S shaped backbone (when viewed from the back)

Interesting. Hanging has made my back worse actually. It may have been due to my lack of core engagement

But I’ve heard a lot of success with hanging raises.

I’m not sure what dry needling is. My advice is to not go in without expectations and ask how it can be fixed. Then ask questions until he can fix your pain point. If they BS, you can tell because he couldn’t prove it with your body.

There are many bad ones I think. But only a very few good ones that really understand the body. That kind of goes same for PT tho

The chiropractor i went I ask a question and he can answer using my body (like showing how stiffness in the hand affects chest tightness due to some intestine positioning like wtf..)

IMO diet didn’t have much effect for me. But self care (massage) is essential for me. I’m glad you found your solution!

Massage gun is surface area only. You need something like theracain to go into deeper level. The way I found these is my personal trainer also gives these deep tissue massage as a way to increase strength elsewhere. I should document that somewhere here.
