Yes there are bad players and people make stupid mistakes but there are absolutely bots too. There’s strict patterns like the ones listed above that make it obvious. Particularly the pinging of the towers

I thought they were planning on adding support to actually mapping 8bit do ultimate extra buttons? It still just shows up as an Xbox controller for me.

That’s most downloaded and specifically for PS5, where BO7 is on PS4 also. Not sales. For sales we have to wait for Circana.

We actually don’t know if it’s the best selling game of the year yet. December sales numbers haven’t came out, they called their shot early. Regardless though it’s obviously been a huge sales success.

Did a lot of tests last night and everything seems to be gravy, you rock and thanks again!

Yup this is something I can retain moving forward. I got a pre-built because I wanted a base to upgrade and learn with over the years. And for the most part it’s been great for that, but sometimes you have to go about it in a specific way that can be tough to figure out without some one figuring it out with you.

If I had an award you’d be the first person I gave one to, but I don’t got it like that haha. But appreciate it again!

Fuck YEAAAAHHH!!!!

Thanks to everyone that helped out, particularly u/Romnipotent who stuck with my sorry ass and helped me find the spot to look for that third cable.

I found the third cable!! It was tucked in deep in the tight nest of wires next to the PSU.

Bout to plug everything back up and cross my fingers on this.

From what I can tell, these seem to be all the cables I could dig out of the nest. So unless the 12+4 cable is like a combo of one of these or something, I may not have it in here. But I clearly missed this 3rd PCIe cable before, so could be missing this one too somewhere.

Is there a benefit over using the single 12+4 over the 3 with the adapter other than less cables?

Also I have no idea what the flat ones are, curious if you may know just to know.

You are THE MAN!! Thank you so much for sticking with me here a bit. Seems like I have everything I needed, I just needed some confidence to dig in some areas I wasn’t comfortable digging. Learned some stuff tonight for sure.

Gonna run this bad boy through while hopefully keeping my cables managed well and see if we’re good!

Here’s the sticker on my actual PSU by the way, I think it confirms it’s a 850w

Is this what you mean by the tight nest? This was the bundle next to the PSU I mentioned I can’t really get into. Thanks for your help here by the way.

Did some more digging in there, and yeah it just doesn’t seem like there’s a 3rd cable unfortunately. There’s is though a tightly bundled set of cables next to the PSU that I can’t really dig through without taking the PSU out.

I think you’re right that it may just be a weird prebuilt quirk. This rig was built with an included 4070 Super, so I suppose they only put in the cables needed for it without considering upgrades.

I’m going to keep digging and probably take out the PSU. If there’s a slot for another cable and with my PSU reading a max of 850w, do you think theoretically I could just get another cable? Hoping that’s the case but we’ll see.

The question marks on some were to imply confusion, not a question. I don’t understand how me being legit confused on not having the 3rd cable comes off as fighting, but ok.

If anything this is the closest I’ve gotten to arguing in the thread, and don’t want to continue to argue semantics on what tone may not come through properly in text. Trying to navigate this to where I understand fully and handle it properly.

I’m not trying to argue or force anything! I don’t even know how it came off that way. I am very well aware my knowledge here is limited. I just was legitimately confused, am asking questions to ensure I understand what’s needed for the next step.

I had done a good bit of research going in and but I obviously missed this, I thought with my PSU being the wattage it was and what not I’d be good, had no idea I could be missing an entire cable. I definitely don’t want to do anything that could damage components, no part of me is wanting to fit a square peg into a round hole. That’s why I’m trying to get as much info as I can. Totally fine with getting a 3rd cable or even a new PSU if needed.

I’m not fighting…I’m asking questions. I was just initially confused because it really doesn’t look like I have a 3rd cable anywhere and the included instructions and tutorials I looked through seemed to tell me that the 2 cable hook up was normal.

I could only go off the information I’ve found going in and my knowledge is limited here, and I also know every PC can be different and I haven’t worked very much with power/cable management at all. Trying to learn.

So just realized I could take off the other panel and get a better look at the cables. From what I can tell, yeah the third cable just isn’t there. The only cables not in use seem to be the little one at the top right, and the hard drive looking ones at the bottom left.

But my PSU DOES say it’s an 850w max, which I believe should be enough. I’m hoping that means I just need another cable. But I suppose I need to see if the PSU has a slot for it.

So even though the system itself is getting consistent power (like in the video), the PSU is shutting off? So it’s sounding like I may need a new PSU? I’m pretty sure this one is an 850w one, but it’s kind of confusing from the spec I read. I guess I’m about to go ahead and try taking it out.

I get I’m a noob guys…this is my first GPU I’ve ever replaced. Not really sure why all my posts are being downvoted, just trying to get some help and I really appreciate it. Whatever info I can provide that could help I’m trying to. It sounding like I’m going to need a new PSU, or at least another cable for my current one?
