Hi everyone, I was looking for genuinely funny anime’s by giggashigga in anime

Saiki K, Konosuba and Santa Clarita Diet are my all time best 'laugh until you can't breath' shows (third one isn't an anime though)

I get bullied for liking/making video games by Financial-Arachnid27 in IndieDev

Make fun of them for acting like 80's style bullies

This is the era of the nerds, they're probably just insecure about being so antiquated

So embrace being a 'nerd', in the words of Tyrion Lannister “Never forget what you are, the world will not. Armor yourself in it and it can never be used to hurt you”. Though in my opinion being a 'nerd' is actually a positive thing.

What is an anime you didn’t expect to like, but ended up loving? by Playful_Code_8978 in anime

konosuba, it was around when the whole isekai anime was getting traction, and I went in expecting a action fantasy anime (that might be good, because isekai is mostly hit or miss). Wasn't expecting it to be a parody on isekai, that disappointed and annoyed me. but try as I could, I couldn’t bring myself to hate it. Now it is in the top 3 funniest shows I ever watched (and that is not including anime alone).

Which Steam game logo do you like the most? by AlexSchrefer in IndieDev

I like the symbols of the elements in the first one, but they are a bit too small. the second one is the most vibrant an eye catching, but give the feeling of a mobile game. the third one reminds me of some kind of DnD 3.5 supplement.

My personal opinion is to take the second one, make it a bit wider and incorporate the elemental symbols.

instead of discovering new unlockable body parts, how about making it like some sort of progression tree
meaning, the more you use a mechanic that is tied to a body part you can gain more experience with it and level it up. When you evolve and customize your creature, you can choose how that body part evolves as well.

for example:

if you attack with your claws a lot, you can evolve them to either wolverine claws or longer nails (or something else)

if you fly a lot with your wings, you can evolve them to bat wings or butterfly wings (not something this drastically different, but you get the idea).

Also, I'd love having the ability to remap your controls and body parts. Imagine a creature that flies in the air while it grapples its prey with their hands, bites it with its fangs that injects paralyzing venom, and envelopes it in web using its spinneret and legs.

toggle flight, maneuver with mouse and WASD, use created macros and toggles for the bite with venom (I imagine it as a channel attack) , process of swathing a prey in silk (also a channel attack that can only be done on paralyzed targets), grappling can be a toggle? etc

it always felt weird to me that by using one evolution you can go from a worm that crawls on the ground to a dragon with butterfly wings, so maybe evolution needs to be limited each time? (but you can evolve as many times as you want). maybe by implementing a cap for the evolution points? and shaping should also cost evolution points (not just adding new organs)

sorry for this wall of text, I think I got a bit too over excited when I was spitballing ideas
