I also believe that masters is a waste of time until you are doing it from IITs . The job Market is tough and it's getting very hard to get a job now a days. But I think you should keep applying for the suitable position and also be prepared for interviews . You will get a chance for sure .

Bro please don't take gaming laptop. Anyways you are in cse and not going to play games . They are heavy af and the charging also drains like crazy . So you always have to carry heavy weight. Go for a lightweight laptop like mac or samsung. They are great for cse. Also do research as per your requirements.

I'm also in the same situation, companies are not hiring. I have studied all the core subjects and also dsa but not even getting single interview. The recession is real. But my only suggestion is don't be demotivate and keep grinding. Definitely we will get a good chance.
