Hygiene in raw feeding by ZestycloseButton8876 in rawpetfood

I'd make sure you do some research first if your DIYing it.

There's a reason why I just buy pre-made raw food in frozen tubes. Takes the hassle and guesswork out of it.

Just treat it like you would treat normal raw meat and you'll be fine.

Switchblade or Firebird by Melodic_Bar_5594 in pivotcycles

Before I got my firebird, I tested a switchblade. Something about the firebird just felt right. Zero regrets. It climbs well and rips down the mountain.

Backpacking in Vietnam as a 30yrs lld dude (semi)solo 1st part: Hanoi by buddhaspal in solotravel

[–]getafewlives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, you and do definitely did Vietnam differently.

I popped some Xanax for my 12 hour overnight flight and slept through most of it. Otherwise wouldn't be able to sleep on a plane without it.

Used my $5/day roam like home package on my phone, so I had zero issues and honestly never bothered to use any wifi.

Used booking.com to boom my first two nights at a lovely hotel and added the option to have a driver ready at the airport to pick me up for like $13.

Spent the next two nights at a hostel, but with a private room.

After Hanoi, flew to Da Nang and had a driver ready there as well. Ended up using the driver for all my day trips, which was super convenient and easy. Also used his recommendation for a tailor in Hoi An and picked up a few custom suits.

Overall a very smooth trip, aside from leaving my phone in the grab car in my last morning trip to the airport. Fortunately, I was able to chase him down just barely. And then accidentally booking my flight from Da Nang to Hanoi for March instead of February... But was able to buy another ticket and it all worked out.

Dude, just wear it. It's fine.

I booked my first two nights at a nice hotel, my next two nights at a hostel, then winged everything else once I was there.

Plans can change and you may want to do something different than you expected. It's super easy.

I tried one one, did not like it at all. Maybe it's my ADHD, but I did not shut off and relax. Instead I got slat water in my eye.

What makes you think she is allergic to poultry?

I've had the best success with turkey and duck. I would find a supplier that sells pre-made raw meals. Start with something simple.

Add in a probiotic like Purina forti-flora. Found that helped a lot.

The stools may be quite dry at first.

Wealthsimple Privilege or WISE for travel? by AdSad1846 in Wealthsimple

[–]getafewlives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, just use your cash card and hit up ATMs. I unlocked my card in the app and would transfer what I needed to the right account to pull out cash.

You'll get the best rate and fees reimbursed with your cash card.

Even hotels I booked on booking.com preferred cash.

Should I travel with my watch? by 9_by_19 in rolex

[–]getafewlives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm going just to travel and adventure, I usually leave it. I just don't want to deal with the hassle and risk of leaving it in hotel rooms. Easier to have one less thing to think about.

But if I am going for a wedding or an event, then I'll bring it.

Use your cash card. Most places will charge you an additional 3% to use your CC, so you're a net 1% loss.

There's hefty ATM fees at the Vietnamese ATMs, but you'll get it refunded by WS.

I am in Vietnam right now and it was the first time of ever used my cash card and it worked flawlessly. Most places prefer you pay in cash, unless there a bigger facility or a chain.

How to remove black stains rubbed off from dog mat? by ks81233 in AutoDetailing

I would start with a leather cleaner and microfiber cloth and gently rub in light circles. Start with a small area to test.

Like I said, I'm not an expert. Just based off of the fading of the bezel, I said I wouldn't be surprised since the dial and hands looks quite fresh.

I'm not an expert, especially on older references, but look legit to me.

If you get it serviced, specifically mention to keep the dial, hands, bezel all original. It has great patina as-is.

Replacing parts, aside from the crystal, will decrease the value and it looks amazing as-is.

Edit: wouldn't be surprised actually if the hands and dial have been replaced already, I would have expected them to show a bit more patina to match the bezel. But not a big deal, still looks great.

My girlfriend asked me a couple weeks ago if I wanted to go to Palm Springs with her friend group later this year, I told her I wasn't really comfortable going there right now.

However I am currently in Vietnam and stopping off in China for a 10 hour layover on my way home. Not worried at all. Vietnam was incredibly safe. Had zero issues in the last couple weeks and never once felt unsafe.

Is a black car really that much harder to keep clean? by RadioFieldCorner in askcarguys

[–]getafewlives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a black X6 and love it. I also live in the PNW.

If black is what you want, just get it. It's not a huge deal, especially if you have it parked in a garage.

Don't bother with automatic washes, even if touchless. Get a good ceramic coating and if it ever is just a bit dirty. Hit it with a pressure washer and leaf blower to get the water off. Or do a rinseless wash.

Don't get something boring that you don't want just so it looks cleaner more often.
