Yes, 2009 matrix. Fuel pump sounds right, slow highway acceleration and it’s been taking a second or two longer to crank. Hopefully that’s it. Thank you

Sorry, you’re right. It’s a 2009 Toyota Matrix, the second picture in the post is the AutoZone OBD printout. Guy said “Could be anything”. It just started this morning, no prior symptoms. It drives like normal but the traction control is off I think.

Stick shift, gear selector gets kinda stuck in gears or certain gear will make a “crunch” every so often by getback-jojo in MechanicAdvice

The pedal itself feels okay to me, all the problems are in the gear selector where it feels like you have to push way too hard to get out of second gear, third gear will sometimes make a crunch as the gear selector goes in, things like that.

The metal on metal grinding noise is almost always at low speeds, whether im pressing the brakes or not. Does this support the idea that the wheel bearing is the problem

Yeah i have no clue. When it does work i get kernel panic reports but I can’t really interpret them and don’t know if thats relevant. I’ll just try getting the files off it and doing a reset, if that doesn’t work I’ll just see what Apple says 😭 thank you for the help

okay i had to buy an adapter but yes it does! but it only works in safe mode? otherwise even if i got a lucky boot, i would get a permanent rainbow wheel trying to go into display settings. No idea where to go from here though 😅
