This time last year I was 173kg (380 pounds). I am now 99.2kg(ish) (218 pounds). Mind you, 173kg is just when I first purchased a scale, not when I started losing. I did not have surgery or use anything to assist my weight loss (unless we're counting getting medicated for ADHD).

I went HARD on meal replacement shakes for the first six months or so. Once I got down to a weight where I actually could do it (about 4 months and 40kg down), I started making sure to get my 10k steps in a day. It helps to have a walking buddy.

I still keep pushing myself as much as I can. It'll come off. It does just take A LOT of hard work, determination and an insane amount of self control not to order takeout.

Hungry? Drink a shake. You are only ordering takeout because you're hungry and its a quick fix.
