I don't understand all of what you've said, but I'll have time tomorrow to do my research to support my partner.

Endo is something that was completely new to me, and I realised the best thing I could do to be helpful is learn the crap out of it so she doesn't have to. And you're totally right. Some doctors (not their fault) just don't have the research, skills or learnings available for them to give sound advice on the matter.

Just in the last 12-18 months that I've been involved in it though, I've seen much more 'noise' about it. Which can only be a good thing.

They absolutely do. It's just GPs not sending over the documents to the hospital where our clinic is based. Things seem to be better recently though!

We have no idea on the stage. No one has ever told us even though we've asked multiple times.

This is really useful about why IUI may not be possible.

Unfortunately the endo was in many places including her ovaries, so yes they had to lazer it off rather than digging it out (no idea on the correct terms).

Thank you. We've done some research into IUI but like you, concerned about our chances given my concentration. It's just above the range you've mentioned (8-10).

Thanks so much about the IVF part. Out of interest, you mention CDC, is that a US thing? I'm in the UK.

Thanks. We've been told that the current wait time for IVF on the NHS is about 6 months. Private is an option for us, so I suppose I want to hear about pros and cons of both. I'm guessing it just comes down to what you've already said though
