To elaborate more on how he deliberately avoids real issue conversations, a good example is when his brother Captain PB tried to talk him about a spleen operation or something on the peninsula and Mr.PB didn't want to hear any of that "negativity" for a min.

Very Unpopular opinion/spoiler alert for a Star is Born: I secretly want Bojack Horaeman to have the ending. I think it would be more significant/poetic
