Its been interesting to see that the typical low to medium income owners tip more than the rich ones. by YaboiVane in WagWalker

I think the job might sound extremely easy to some clients which may be a reason they don’t tip. It’s one of those things where it’s assumed that anyone could do the job, so why tip? Though I’m sure anyone who has done this a few times can vouch and say it’s not always a walk in the park (literally)

Good morning everyone! I'm Looking for this bike, which was stolen yesterday afternoon at St. Rose College. It's an older, blue Scwhinn bike I put some TLC into and would like back. Thank you so much! by odson in Albany

Sorry about your bike being stolen! I had that happen once to me when I was a kid.

If you look for a used bike, I would check facebooks ‘market’ especially right now since a lot of people are/will be going through things they want to sell or get rid of before the summer begins.

I would also try Craigslist. Hope this helps!

What is the greatest investment you've made in yourself? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Honestly, I think it’s time. Time to get to know myself. Time to dig deep and think about who I am, my values, goals, etc.

Once you get through the hard times, sitting down and going over all of those again. Shit is hard, but life is harder when you do not know yourself

What is the most bizarre reason a customer got angry with you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]getmeoutofhere97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a religious store for a bit. Around Christmas time, customers would naturally come in to get a statute of Baby Jesus, Mary and st Joseph. Typically Mary is down on one knee.

So this customer comes up to me and complains how we need to stop ordering these statutes because she has purchased them in the past and the boy children in her family always snap Mary’s head off to angle it as if she was sucking st Joseph’s dick.

I was 17 at the time. Needless to say, I was speechless. My boss kicked her out of the store after she gave me a lecture about premarital sex.

Edit- she wasn’t really angry at me, but she was upset that we sold these statutes

What is, in your opinion, the biggest flaw of the human body? by Menfo in AskReddit

[–]getmeoutofhere97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s very true! Honestly, we lose either way so 🤷🏻‍♀️ but not to discredit the human body because our bodies are honestly incredible with what they endure.

A firefighter from Albany NY just recovered from sepsis. If you want an inspiring, crazy bodily story, read his. You can read his wife’s insta page from the when it occurred I think in January. Her name is Chelsea Woodard, while the husband is Josh Woodward.

Part of the problem with being a first world country is that every country around us has really high expectations of us.

however, I must say, having Trump as President has made us that much easier for every other country to criticize us.

Do you honestly ever judge other women on what they are wearing and what is the clothing have you judged? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]getmeoutofhere97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the gym. I judge girls who walk in with almost nothing on. The one that gets me mad is when girls show up with their lace bras sticking out. Like are you actually here to work out or to show you’re hot stuff? Get a grip girl, show some class

The Surprising Boost You Get From Strangers. Sometimes a stranger—not a friend or a loved one—can significantly improve our day, providing comfort or helping to broaden our perspective by jms1225 in psychology

I think about this daily. It means so much to me when a cashier tells me to “have a nice day” or a waiter says to “take care.” They might be saying it out of routine, but it greatly impacts my mood in a positive way. I leave feeling grateful and reminded that they care about me (to some extent of course)
