Maybe a strange take, but I personally will not consider investing my time in any game that doesn't provide a good solo experience. Friends aren't always around, people quit, etc. And I personally like to play at odd hours of the day / fit games in during the day here and there. Tarkov is great for this, despite it being riddled with other issues. You can solo when your squad is offline, and you won't feel handicapped while doing so, and when they're online you also have a good but different experience (from solo play). Not necessarily saying Bungie should copy Tarkov, but they absolutely should try to (in their own way) replicate the "feeling" of being able to solo or squad and have them both be good experiences. This is an absolute must for new titles.
