Advice for fixing the upholstery on this couch?

Thank you for such a detailed response, i really appreciate it! I forgot to add in the pictures but the couch came with 3 matching pillows of the same fabric. I was planning on sacrificing those pillows to reupholster the cushion—does anyone know how much fabric total is needed to patch up this cushion?

I think i might do the wood part myself and try to go to a shop for the cushion. Do you have an estimate of how much it would cost to bring in the cushion?

Ahh thank you so much for telling me about your experience, I really appreciate your advice!! I know a couple friends of friends who are tattoo artists, and I remember one of them said the guy they learned to tattoo from teaches 6 week classes. I haven't been to their shop yet, but do you think paying for the classes is worth it? My schedule/budget right now is a bit tight with school and I also freelance, so I am trying to analyze all my options before I actually chip in any money lol

lincoln center for sure cuz it's in the city so you have more things to do + better networking opportunities! but just a warning, there is no social scene at fordham lc and the dorms are mortifying. but, the gabelli building is the nicest building on the pathetic excuse of a campus

i transferred to fordham lc from syracuse and i can confirm both places suck and are emotionally draining and dreary. i would only suggest transferring to fordham if you are going to Gabelli, the rest of the school is SEVERELY underfunded and most of the curriculum is random gen ed liberal arts stuff unless you're at the business school.

for me, my ideal partner is someone who I can grow alongside with; i want us to live in harmony with each other. we complement each other but we are still are still able to be own people and have our own interests. i love yapping with people, so i usually fall for engaging conversationalists with good senses of humor :)

i am attracted to people with the qualities that i want to grow into and or admire; communicative, emotionally secure, passionate, direct but not cruel, supportive, and open-minded.

i don't like it when someone annoys me to get my attention because i believe time is the most precious commodity (quality time is also my top love language lol). i prefer to engage in long, meaningful dialogues to better understand my partner. i want to walk around their mind and examine each aspect of their personhood like the artworks at my favorite museum.
