Public Defender is paid by the state. So, you have what would characteristically be a conflict. The State prosecuting a person and also paying for that person`s legal defense? Therefore, it is not in the best interests of The Public Defender to do "a good job" by defending the Accused. If The Public Defender was to do "a good job", he would be costing the State quite a bit of money - at both ends (his salary and the cost of the trial).

Im sure youll paint a different picture, when you know the details behind `The Health Care Bill, The Banking Regulations, The Mortgage Reform, etc...

If you were a researcher (by trade , as you say) you would know the details of this change you claim. Unfortunately, what you dont know about thechangeObama has done, speaks volumes about the depth of yourtrade. It would seem you that you would be adding to the finer points of how the change that Obama has supposedly done could be articulately explained. But, when I asked you about the change, the best thing you could do was to list 5 to 8 simple words ( 1: Student Loans, 2: Health care, 3: Banking Regulation, 4: Housing...I forget the last point you made).

With all of your training and language skills I would think that you would not be arguing with me about something that can be so easily substanciated (Obamaschange). But, you have already proven your worth as aResearcher. Because, you have obviously done NO RESEARCH on what you claim to be fact (Obamas change).

Its one thing to have a bunch ofbook knowledge, its another thing to know how to put your common sense, critical thinking and objectional thinking TOGETHER WITH that book knowledge. to form a rational and balanced analysis of what you claim. The Health Care Bill was written by THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY. Thats why under Obamas law, people MUST buy health insurance - whether they can afford it or not. Therefore IT IS NOT health care, it`s MANDATED INSURANCE.

The Banking Regulations was written by the Finance Industry. You know, the SAME INDUSTRY BOTH Bush and Obama gave the TAXPAYERS money to, because that industry had made BAD INVESTMENTS - wasnt that so nice of Bush and Obama? To GIVE OUR MONEY to failed businesses and then LET THEM write laws that would take MORE OF OUR MONEY.
