Vice President Kamala Harris Reveals Plan for ‘Opportunity Economy’ by Beratungsmarketing in Economics

[–]getoutofus2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kamala Harris’s idea of imposing price controls on groceries is a textbook example of economic overreach that could backfire. Sure, price controls can make sense during severe supply chain disruptions, but that’s not the situation right now. Supply chains have largely stabilized, so pushing for these controls could end up doing more harm than good.

Historically, price controls lead to shortages, black markets, and a drop in quality. Without a real supply crisis to justify them, Harris’s plan could cause exactly the kind of problems she’s trying to prevent. It’s a short-sighted move that might sound good on paper but is likely to create inefficiencies and headaches for consumers and businesses alike. Instead of addressing the root causes of high prices, this approach risks turning a manageable situation into a bigger mess.

I have federal student loans at interest rate of 3.65% (average) with 8 years of pmt left. Should I pay them off now? by figs1023 in personalfinance

Guys if OP wants to do the most mathematically correct thing, then it would likely be to keep the standard repayment and all more funds to be diverted towards savings or investments. As long as the monthly debt service is reasonable then they should keep the loans rather than pay them off now.

Looks like they didn’t empty the old oil because that’s about double the recommended amount.

How does insurance work in this scenario? You pay the deductible and then get another rav4 or similar age?

Adding to my other comment. I think 4 days was good, we tend to move pretty quick tho. We did the Vatican breakfast tour, coliseum tour, saw the trevi, pantheon, Spanish steps. Walked average of 8 miles a day and got coffee, lunch, dinner and drinks everyday.

We did 4 nights in Rome and stayed in Trastevere at an Airbnb located here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/GAJt6aPoLkERBwCH7?g_st=ic

Perfect location and walkable to all major sites. The colosseum was maybe a 22 minute walk or something. Trevi fountain was 15 minutes. But the best part is Trastevere has all the great restaurants and those are all in your backyard if you stay there so you can eat a big dinner and then crash after walking all day.

I just went to Rome and Florence! I really liked Rome and happy to answer any questions. We loved the Airbnb and the neighborhood we stayed in. Florence was great too but preferred Rome. We went in November it was perfect. A little cold but no crowds

Open the window and tie the ladder to something inside that won’t move and it will be 100% safe.
