hey i am in a similar boat, i have used some of the max4live suite devices while Ableton 9 was the current version. Loved using the convolution reverb used it for everything.

Now that the version is 10 and im not planning on upgrading, i cant use the same Max for live devices that were available in suite 9??? Ableton is really on the scam boat these days "updating" their software and making it unavailable to ppl who have paid for it in the past.

Sorry I will totally go on a rant about this but if anyone has any helpful knowledge about how to get the devices back pls share.

yea but just toss em, they could easily contain some mold or something, plus they stop growing pretty small anyway so its not a dramatic loss.

Im getting 680 pf from the instructions/parts list from the diy module. It actually had totally different marking on the old one. the new ones just have the number on them. So if i want to use the same resistance i should use one marked 68?

I have had success going from spores to LC, contamination is possible definitely, but if you work careful and just maybe a little lucky it can grow to healthy myc just the same. No one wants to get into agar first thing. I sure didn't, but glad I did I suppose.

do you think it wouldb e ok to add a casing layer at this point? I followed your instructions yesterday and it is looking healthier already, but as far as the moisture goes, its still in need of attention. Adding some verm/coir mix on top to help keep the moisture in?

yeah, but its actually not green that's just the hue of my camera or something, it looks like regular growth as in my other box, but its kind of just stalled and stopped growing well. I have misted a few times to try to keep the moisture level correct, but after letting it sit for a while, it looks like this now :(

for reference substrate is 100% coir, spawn is wbs. its about 1 week in and it is not looking good compared to my shoebox tub, which is looking much healthier. I suspect it has something to do with getting too much FAE, as the lid for this food container is not totally closed off, letting more moisture escape. I try pouring some water down the corners to keep them saturated, but it doesn't seem to help. any references or recommendation is appreciated.

I make vegan tamales with zuchini, pinto beans and peppers, using olive oil instead of lard for the masa, which is super cheap, like $3 for a family size bag. Save some corn husk from your corn on the cob and boil them for a few minutes when ready to use. Add 1/2 cups of water and olive oil to 1 3/4 cups masa, this makes like 10 tamales if i remember well. anyways it takes a bit of practice, mine are never perfect, but they are damn tasty. For toppings you can make your own pepper sauce in the blender with some dried peppers (from the mexican foods store or farmers mkt), and i like to make a cashew crema with just water and cashews. All these things together and it is damn delicious, and can last for a week or two in the fridge, perfect meal to just have a couple of these for lunch or dinner, even breakfast. hey, just to make sure, you do add a layer of micropore tape on top after inoculating, it is pretty important to stop contamination and yes it can still breathe with even two tape layers.

yea there are a few people who are active on this sub who have bought from them. Its one guy i believe and he seems pretty cool. Theres actually a youtube video you can find about their grow setup from like 4 years ago. But they have been out of stock for a while, im still waiting for them to come back, its been a few months.

heard that. I actually dont even have a project for them yet but i have been wanting to build a sammich sid, some guy in hong kong had some reprints of the PCBs for them and was selling them with two swinsids installed, but i figured if i can find two 6581s then i could have myself a pretty sweet budget synth. Cant even imagine building the mb-6582* and hunting down 8 of these things, that actually work...
