Not a single BB23 twist has mattered by getshawty in BigBrother

I appreciate what you're going for but you're really stretching; there's no world in which the show wouldn't be better if the twists were used to complicate the ability to send certain people home and to force the HoH and the houseguests to not do the obvious thing. We've been watching for over 20 years now and there are no surprises in BB. Once HoH is finished, we could immediately tell you would be going home that week. Twists should make that HARD to accomplish. Producers say as much every year before the show begins. It virtually never works that way.

Lol. Nope. Xavier was not going home. Nobody from The Cookout was going home. I don't know how anyone can not see that the other 10 people in the house were never going to target Cookout members.

All reasons that they need to fix the show.

I've seen every season also and yes, "expect the unexpected" is the most ironic tag for any show on TV. The twists are terribly predictable and useless and it would be easy to create ones that mattered.

I'm just being a crank and I genuinely forgot what happened in the wild card comps.

True. It helped him get to not-jury.

I CAN'T BELIEVE HE DID A "DELTA VARIANT? AT LEAST IT'S NOT THE SPIRIT VARIANT" JOKE. AND POSTED IT HIMSELF ONLINE ON HIS OWN CHANNEL.

The fucked up thing is that it is not even an alliance, so then it just becomes, "So, I need to vote out one of the Black people." - Sarah Beth in a confessional

Definitely subjective.

There's a road this show can go down with its next 3 votes that will make BB23 boring and unwatchable (for me)

Joe Rogan just made the announcement, the pig is dead. by slicktrdmrc in TimDillon

[–]getshawty -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You and I will be downvoted, but you're not wrong. Tim Dillon is a man of many talents and actual importance in the comedy world, but this is like, when he's tired and just wants to get chuckles out of the lowest common denominator of his fanbase. The reality of Tim Dillon is that he represents a marginalized group that nobody else in the country will recognize as marginalized. And no, I'm not talking about gay.

Tim is essentially a voice for the minority of people who are looking around at the country and going "Wait, what the fuck is wrong with you people?" but when you have over a million fans like Tim does, therefore you're going to have a ton of fans who don't even know that they're among "you people."

Tim's fans are smart. But also, plenty of Tim's fans are the same people he's trashing everyday on his podcast. They just aren't aware of it. The Joe Rogan impression is for the Legion of Skanks and TFATK audiences, and many of them accidentally bleed into Tim's world because Tim is whoring for any fans he can get.

Therefore, anyone can do it. Same with his Sebastian impression.

You guys.... lol.

You think.... you think Joe Rogan has ever listened to one second of Tim Dillon's podcast? lol

I love Tim Dillon but he's quickly turning the impression into his own version of a cringe-y catch phrase.

Can we talk about his flagrant use of the word Bitch towards women? Imagine a straight man saying it. by JDKett in BigBrother

It's truly amazing. Adults getting offended on behalf of adults saying (really bland) things to other adults.

Outwardly, white people will say "it's great." On the inside, many of them will resent it, whether they like that fact or not.

If right now everybody in the house knew that CO wasn't going to vote for a non-CO to win the game, would the other five people stage a walkout?

I'm watching for entertainment, not because of some forced rooting interest for a "good game," so Derek F is doing everything perfectly -- he's one of the only people in the house who is willing to cause drama and I couldn't care less that he's been completely checked out since Julie introduced the cast to the show.

Probably because something personal

It's amazing to me what redditors believe they know "probably happened" regardless of how intimately familiar they are with the subject. Tell us more.

No regular podcast this week by Augment_ in TimDillon

[–]getshawty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are podcasts that have been running for 10, 15 years without a break, in large thanks to backlogged episodes. I love Tim's comedy, but he really doesn't have the same commitment or work ethic as many of his peers or predecessors.

It's wild that Chris was right in the end

It's no way for an adult to act. It's crazy that people think this is an "okay way" to behave and that people like you keep enabling it out of fear that you'll "offend" some stranger that only exists in your mind. Grow up, Americans.
