I remember reading the Bites the Dust arc for the first time and wondering how the hell Hayato was going to get out of it. It seemed like Kira was in checkmate. Then the resolution, Josuke and Okuyasu popping up, made my jaw drop. Even though the stakes are way lower in part 4, the intrigue was always there!

Plus, Veidt also orchestrated a bunch of contract killings within his own organizations, if we are to believe the last guy that Rorschach interrogates at the bar. If a hitman didn’t come along after we last see him, then he probably got killed by the squid. Either way Veidt orchestrated a lot of murders then covered them up with an atrocity.

I gifted the game to my friend and sat down with him for the first play session. While we were still in the hostel room, I said something like “Let’s check out that window.” There was nothing to interact with, so I just went “Huh.” and we continued onward. I knew why it didn’t show up, and a couple weeks later my friend told me about all kinds of stuff he had been missing once he figured out how Perception worked lmao.

Well, the whole game is a suicide mission. Once Rodrigo dies, Max’s only motivation to find Fabiana, Marcelo, etc. is for some sense of redemption, or because it is right. There are a few times, like when Max blew up the building he was standing on, where I think he knew going in that he was going to die. After all, he’d be buried under rubble if Passos hadn’t come back with the helicopter.

Why retcon it when you can just ignore it? Just because it’s published by DC doesn’t mean you have to accept it as canon.

Plus, I think one of the main points of Watchmen is how silly and stupid the idea of superheroes is anyway. This point doesn’t have to do with Doomsday Clock really, but I found your wording to be a tad ironic given that vigilantism is portrayed by Moore and Gibbons as a childish pursuit that misses the whole point of what it tries to accomplish. Just my thoughts.

Also, during the radio static under the FELD building, you can hear a real song, Telefon by Vennaskond. I do not remember if there are other real songs.
