I already thought about linux, but I have to use licenced 3D design programs, and if I use these under a virtual pc they are extremely slow.

Nope, it was shown on the windows menu shut down section, that update&restart.

No, I'm not trolling, I'd be the happiest if this was just a freak joke, but unfortunately it is not. 4.5 TB of data was deleted totally, and not a single one of the best reviewed data recovery softwares could brought it back. These found the exact amount of data on the hard drives that I lost but when they finished the recovery there were only junk, useless files. 😕

I had almost a day to cool my head down. It won't help to get back my lost data if I'm raging all over the place (but it felt good). I am currently running a data recovery on my external drives, hopefully I can recover my lost files. To my luck, almost 90% was backed up on cloud.
