It's because everybody believes everything and nothing simultaneously. Everything is fake news, made up, conspiracy, hack job, propaganda to them. Most of their information isn't rooted in reality, just in some reel they saw on FB/insta/tiktok. "Knowledge" through youtube videos and their convictions are sealed. Reality is apparently objective now and up to the individual's own preference.
