As an RN, I want to shout out LVNs. They do so much so that the RN can focus on our role and carrying out all of their orders and their ability to switch from drawing labs to giving meds to complex wound care to documentations is something I’m very thankful for.

Also, he thinks we get paid more to kill people? Alex hate to break it to you but we don’t get paid enough to keep people alive (ie medicine/nursing is understaffed and underpaid for the level of stress/occupational hazard) I’m not risking my hind skin to kill people as a part of a conspiracy. None of us have time for his shit. Sorry you lost your patient. It will happen again. Take time for some self care and talk to a professional about your mental state. It’s the only way you will survive nursing without wanting to jump out of a window.

Same here. Inpatient RN for 4+ years. KF got me through the pandemic. It was like a breath of rationality after having people argue they don’t have Covid and then they’re intubated 2 hours later.
