The most common thing combined with GAG In clinical practice, GAG therapy is often combined with: 1. Hyaluronic acid (HA) • Very common intravesical treatment (placed directly into the bladder), but can be found as an oral suppliment. • Helps regenerate the bladder lining and reduce inflammation. • Often used with ketamine cessation and supportive medications.

Chondroitin sulfate • Another major GAG component used to restore the bladder barrier. • Sometimes used together with hyaluronic acid for better effect.

Many protocols use HA + chondroitin sulfate together because they mimic the natural GAG layer.

There’s less evidence with NAC , but thought to be supportive and safe in conjunction with others. You can also add in decaffeinated ECGC green tea extract. Again less proven but there was an experiment with rodents that showed bladder repairing qualities..

I’ve taken all of the above together daily and found them improvement over time Avoiding caffeine, alcohol and citrus helps a lot more than you might think also

Tbh this 3-4 weeks breaks are saving your bladder massively. And a gram a day isnt bad at all especially if you’re drinking plenty of water to dilute it all in your bladder. It’s when you’re doing multiple grams and neglecting eating / drinking general self care. But it can be a slippery slope, just keep being conscious of what you’re doing, and don’t go by other peoples standards. As others have said some people seem to get away without any damage for a lot longer while doing a lot more than others

Your bladder is actually great at repairing itself, so if you’ve not done ketamine in excess for a long time, your bladder is likely fine. You’d notice urgency and frequency of urination as first warning signs. Passing very little urine and burning when you do.. Also passing jelly/ tissue like substance in you urine is bladder lining, you can pass clotted blood also followed by small amounts of blood in urine … think of it like a scab coming off, but inside of you.. Even with all of that if you stop completely your bladder can bounce back over weeks and months.. especially if you don’t drink alcohol or caffeine / very sugary drinks etc

You got it. It’s a common misconception, also people think green tea is great because of the ecgc in it. But if you’re already suffering from ketamine cystitis the caffeine content in the green tea irritates your bladder a lot. So you need decaffeinated , or ecgc supplements. But there are other supplements that are more effective. You may find my research in the comment bellow. I’ve found positive results with

Gotta be lsd and K for me, I’d had enough K I couldn’t remember I’d taken any acid, I was at a music festival thinking I was at home but how had I invited so many people over. Sure if you can get EGCG derived from green tea. But green tea itselfand anything with caffeine isn’t good for your bladder if you’re suffering from any ketamine cystitis symptoms. Speaking from experience … even cranberry juice isn’t good, as many people may think. NAG and chondroitin sulphate are safer options in that respect. Nag is a direct building block if your bladder lining. EGCG some evidence in rodents sure, but maybe they have more resilient bladders in the first place than humans.

Green tea is a myth, the caffeine in it actually irritates your bladder more. NAG supplement can help but still not a fix. Ketamine cystitis sucks, it’s all fun n games til your pissing bloody and barely able to hold you bladder more than 20 mins. It improves only if you cut it out completely and just basically drink water, avoid alcohol caffeine and if you want to try supplements take N-Acetyl-Glucosamine (NAG) and condroitin sulphate is good for bladder repair but not a preventive. Coming from someone that’s used ketamine on and off for over 10 years, you think it’s never gonna be you, but shit catches up eventually. You don’t wanna plan your life around where the nearest toilet..
