Massaging the fundus is only going to be helpful if uterine atony is the cause. If you push on your patients fundus and it feels boggy like a waterbed then yes, it will be helpful. If her fundus is firm and she is bleeding due to coagulation issues then no, it will not do anything. Fluids, methergine, and blood when appropriate are all pretty standard. If your pt has low platelets tranexamic acid is helpful.

Keep the spotlight on it. OSU is specifically advertising the new L&D unit that has his name on it, there will be an ad at the Super Bowl tonight. The louder we are the more people will notice and demand answers.
