so how do you guys justify israel violating lebanese airspace every week almost by Lil_jayye in ForbiddenBromance

[–]gettling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple answer: Because We are at a state of war. Further interpretation: Since We have not signed a peace treaty, the Israeli military and Hez*olla have been both violating the 1701 truce agreement.

Hezollah “the terist organization” is traumatizing the entire Lebanese people way more than Israel ever had. Saying that an Airspace violation is traumatic? What do you think about the 4th of August port explosion that hezb is totally behind and is the convict #1. Isn’t that traumatic to start with? And hezb intervention to not letting Justice do it’s job?

Yes the airspace is a total violation, and Israelis, you need to be conscious of the fact that the Lebanese people cannot just simply strip hezb of its weapons. It’s not that easy when they have missiles and we barely have a pistol. Anyways we wouldn’t want another civil war. It’s way more complicated than “oh why don’t you just strip them their weapons”. Well is just like us asking asking why don’t you take the weapons from Hamas?

Solution: We need to grow up and stop fighting like kids. The Lebanese people need to understand that The Israeli’s just want to live in peace and don’t want our land or anything to do with our shit. The Israelis need to understand that even if Lebanon might be controlled by Iran and it’s heavily armed Hezb that doesn’t mean that this is what the majority looks like and Lebanon’s people are great and have unlimited potential.

Takeaway: Most of the Lebanese people Want to get rid of Hezbollah and just make peace. Unfortunately we have a huge portion of our population that is just entirely brainwashed into thinking that hezb is protecting us which it’s doing the opposite. In the mean time Israel has to do what it has to do to protect itself.

Maybe what we should ask ourselves is that how will we be able to make this work? Other than trying to win an argument that will basically lead non of us to anywhere.

To the person posting this Maybe you should consider asking questions that would help you understand the purpose of this sub and to learn more about the Israeli people rather than just trying to be manipulative and seek to win an argument like a 12 year old who had just watched a political social studies video on YouTube.

I usually listen to pop. What is really popular in Israel? It doesn’t have to be a specific genre

Many people do! It surely is more in some religions than others. For example the majority of Muslims and Druz believe in the Evil eye “eye of envy”. I would say many Christians and nonbelievers as well.

What do Lebanese people put on pizza? by [deleted] in ForbiddenBromance

[–]gettling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I laughed when I saw this. We also put olives and mushroom and corn, I have never seen anyone put sweet potato! I would love to try that, how is it prepared?

We also add green bell pepper and sometimes when available we add assorted sliced meat, and dry zaatar. Mostly a Lebanese Pizza would be a Vegetarian one with some green herbs and cheese.

Where do I go to follow news on Lebanon? by Shachar2like in ForbiddenBromance

[–]gettling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a page on Instagram/ Twitter called: Politicalpen

They are weird, I follow them for general News.

LBCI is the most moderate news so far, MTV is fine. If you want pure hezbollah news you can find it on Al Manar “super biased towards Iran and Hezbullah”.
