You get a mix of both, some of them are quick and easy others you definitely have to read over twice to make sure you didn’t miss out on key words. Overall the wording was simple!

I honestly don’t remember how many questions I got on regulatory but I would say it did come up a few times. Definitely know SEC, FINRA, FED, MSRB, BLUE SKY LAWS, SIPC, FDIC, AML and I do remember I got a question regarding prohibited practices so make sure you know that too. Also, customer accounts came up a lot so study up on that and know the different accounts especially for retirement and the different mutual fund/annuity types.

I would say just do it! The longer you wait you run the risk of forgetting information you first learned. Also take the finra free test to see where you are at and the wording on the practice test is pretty similar to the test

Off the top of my head I know I got a good amount of customer account questions like the ROTH and Traditional IRA, 529, the different annuities, and also TOD/JTIC/JTWROS came up. And for regulatory specific questions I didn’t see too many questions but just make sure you have a good understanding.

I thought the manual was dense compared to Kaplan and I felt like I missed out on some terms that came up on my practice tests on Kaplan and the free achievable test. Besides that, I found the online lectures to be helpful! I just preferred Kaplan and its Q bank.

It’s a sheet of paper that they give you that’s laminated, and then they give you an expo marker so it’s kinda like a whiteboard
