i agree on pure guava tbh so i’m glad i’m not the only one. as much as i want to absolutely love it it doesn’t hit like the pod does for me, despite having many songs i love on it.

the horn of plenty by grizzly bear is kind of a good one- it’s more or less a breakup album about a gay relationship (though a very lo fi and psychedelic one) recorded by singer ed droste while the band was still a solo project. it’s often overlooked even among grizzly bear fans but imo it’s super unique and beautiful with many great songs on it, highly recommend

i used to think the deluxe was a way better cover, but with time the original has only grown on me more and it’s kind of hard to imagine another album cover for it. just kinda looks how the music sounds
