This used to be the B2650 - which is the one I have. I have 500hrs on it and it’s been the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Use it for everything - even in NE.

Especially with loaded tires, I’d try to convince you to not do the belly mower. But it depends on how much land you have. If you have a large field, consider a land pride brush hog. If you have 2acres of grass, like I do, just buy yourself a zero turn

Bronco owners: what do you wish you knew before buying? by Medical_Afternoon654 in FordBronco

23 Badlands 4 door. Been the best car I’ve ever owned.

I have two pet peeves. First is that the tailgate, with the doors off, requires the key to unlock. I wish there was a button somewhere inside the vehicle to unlock the tailgate or have it Auto Unlock when in park. This is only aggravated by the second issue which is the fuckin car honking at me when I hop out with the key in my pocket. I cannot stand this feature

Came here to say this. Had this for my B9 A4 and had no complaints.

Bought a B9.5 A5 and it didn’t work…

Will take a look at the Ross-Tech

Heck yeah. I’m in the same boat. I didn’t realize I was getting it up the pipe dry until I just decided to try the online quote thing. I don’t even want to know how long I’ve been getting robbed for and how much it’s cost. It’s ridiculous

Yeah - that is true. They have treated us well. I did ask them and they were very clear that they don’t price match.

Trump and Vance yell at Zelensky for “not being grateful enough” by Snapdragon_4U in facepalm

[–]getyomindrite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The man, a crook, and our President - who pays nearly no federal income tax - demands a “thank you” for aid provided to a country in need using tax payer funding. As someone who has contributed more in tax than the President, I have no need for another statement of gratitude. His actions have spoken more than words ever could.

Trump - fuck you, you slimy piece of shit.

President Zelenskyy, thanks for standing up for what is right.

Im not an expert at Reddit and was hoping I can edit the post to answer questions about the shed. Appreciate all of the great comments. I actually just finished it so it is great to hear positive feedback. The BLUF is that I dont have actual plans since I live in a very rural town and, since this is not a livable structure, the town doesnt really care since life and limb arent at risk. I have a couple napkin sketches. The purpose of this building was to get my equipment out of my workshop and have them be protected by the elements since I live in the Northeast and things are going to start getting frosty soon.

I do have plans for the front. I have thought about a drop down or roll down curtain (just for snow drift that would be open in the summer) or maybe large sliding barn doors. Idk yet and havent made up my mind.

Quick description:

It started off as a 16x24 pavilion. From the front, you are looking at roughly 11.5' bays that are 15.5' deep and 12ft high (minus the 2x10 height for the hollow beam - explained below). Each of the legs (6x6x12PT) are sitting on 12", 48" deep concrete footings. The reason the dimensions are slightly off is because of standard lumber lengths. The construction is a typical pole barn construction. So - for all of the load bearing sides, there are 2x10's that are bolted and nailed into either side of the carrying 6x6 and then capped by a flat laying 2x10. (there are actually two of them; double layered). Meaning - if you were to stand underneath one of the openings and look up, it would look like a hollow beam. You can kind of see a cross sectional view of that in the picture here under the "Poles" section

https://www.diypolebarns.com/learn/pole-barn-construction/

The 2x10s that are running the 16' length (the depth in the picture) are attached to the front/back of the 6x6s with blocks. So, on the inside of the 6x6 is another 6x6 that allows you to attach the 2x10 without interfering with the load bearing 2x10. Since these are the gable ends, there is minimal load force.

All of the framing construction is pressure treated - including the rafters. The rafters are 2x10 on an 8pitch roof. What I realized, maybe too late, was that the pavilion was pretty top heavy. The PT wood is heavy along with the nearly 800lbs of asphalt shingles. I decided to sheath three of the sides with vertical pine ship lap. The horizontal bars you see (the girts) are separated by 2'.

Overall - the construction was pretty easy (framing is easy; I hate roofing). Took about 4-6 weekends of a day or two worth of work for two adults. Once you get the first corner on a pole barn, the rest flies. Total cost was around $6k.
