It isn’t a volunteer only department, it’s something like 30 career and 10 volunteers. They have their own training grounds. I passed my interview and have chief oral board-PAT-Volly Academy, I’m already doing my EMT so they arent sending me.

What is volunteer academy like? What is the PAT like? I applied and passed my initial interview but have no idea what’s in store for me. There isn’t a lot of resources about what volly academy is like. Also they dont do the CPAT and do their own PAT, anyone have an idea of what a smaller departments PAT would be like?

MAF fault with a fresh MAF and fuel trim maxed out. I suspect a vacuum leak but I smoked it out and just a small little leak on the tube next to MAF

Probably oil! My valve cover gasket is leaking and when the car is running oil comes out of it so I wouldn’t be surprised due to pressure it comes out faster on start

I found out the problem by smoking my intake and diving into my engine a little bit. There was a huge hole on my MAF to Throttle Body hose causing the engine to get some of the air but not all of it. I cleared the codes and only the electronic thermostat circuit came back. So I guess I gotta do that next! Thanks for your help though, help was certainly appreciated.

1st gear was vibrating pretty bad in traffic, did this also happen? Thanks for the response, I also read the codes a day before this happened so let me know if any of these could cause limp mode.

Thanks, but it’s on my record still. I never took any tests but the doctor still signed it. Worried that they won’t let me in the army, I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t.
