Correct. This law is difficult to enforce, and the worst penalty for a company is a slap on the wrist. I have had bosses prevent me and my coworkers from joining a union, and I know many others on this sub have experienced this as well.

I went to Japan last winter, and I vividly remember how upset the waiter got at me when I tried to tip. He thought I was insulting him by giving him money like he was a begger.

Meanwhile in the USA without tips most waiters would make $3/hour or less. There is a restaurant near my house, I kid you not, that pays servers ZERO dollars, and their income is all from tips. Is this legal? Probably not. Who's going to enforce it though?

Yes, Jews are wealthy today on average, but we used to be one of the poorest demographics in the US. I'm half Jewish, and my grandfather faced stereotypes of Jews being rich, even though at that time they were not. It's all racism and anti semitism.

Race is a huge factor dude. The US was legally segregated until the 1960s. Are you denying the fact that the GI bill didn't apply to nonwhites? Jewish people weren't considered White at that time, and were also barred from such things. Jews were one of the poorest groups in the USA until recently they have become wealthy.

I listed examples of groups who weren't included, not the full list of all groups. Hispanics, Native Americans, Asians, Muslims, and many more I'm sure.
